The
police on Monday recovered a day old baby abandoned in a carton along
Adelodun road, in the Government Residential Area of Ilorin, the Kwara
state capital.
It was gathered that the mother allegedly dumped the day old baby at a bus stop in the area.
The baby was said to have been spotted by some residents who consequently put a distress call to the State Police Command.
A patrol team from the A-Division police team was said to gone to the scene and evacuated the baby and was taken to the Civil Service Clinic for medical attention.
