Bajrangi Bhaijaan has set the cash registers ringing and how! The Salman Khan film has been embraced warmly by audiences both in the country and abroad, and the staggering figures are evidence of the same. Directed by Kabir Khan, this tale of a Hanuman devotee from India escorting a mute Pakistani child to the neighbouring country has won hearts of people all over. The film has been doing exceptionally good business ever since its release on July 17.
In two weeks, Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has earned Rs 272.25 crore just in the country. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures:

When Bajrangi Bhaijaan hit the screens, its main competition at the box office was SS Rajamouli's epic war drama Baahubali. As of now, just the Hindi dubbed version of Baahubali has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark.
